The six Youd brothers, who all served and survived, were Carl , Samuel , Horace , Thomas , Frederick and Percy .

Frederick was discharged on 10th November 1917. He was entitled to the British War Medal, Victory Medal and Silver War Badge. He was 27 years old,
He died at Clatterbridge Hospital on 9th July 1959.
