The six Youd brothers, who all served and survived, were Carl , Samuel , Horace , Thomas , Frederick and Percy .
Frederick joined up for military service on 11th February 1915.
Serving with the Territorial Force, Frederick was renumbered to T4/253442 in the Territorial Renumbering of March 1917
Frederick was discharged on 10th November 1917. He was entitled to the British War Medal, Victory Medal and Silver War Badge. He was 27 years old,
He died at Clatterbridge Hospital on 9th July 1959.
