Service DetailsHarold Hunter was the younger brother of Arthur Hunter
He originally served as Private 47334 with the 2nd Battalion of the South Lancashire Regiment but was transferred on an unknown date to the Worcestershire Regiment
No details of his overseas service have been located
Harold died at No 16 General Hospital, Orpington, , Kent on 8th April 1919 and his body was returned to Whiston for burial. His widow, Sarah, was listed as next of kin on the Register of Soldiers Effects (below)
He was entitled to the British War Medal and Victory Medal, shown on his Medal Index Card.
