The Hughes family lived at 18 Cook Street, Whiston, and comprised Robert (26, a Coal Miner) and Annie (23) and their two month old son Thomas. Robert's 16 year old brother Evan also lived with the family.
1901 Census -
By the time of the 1901 census, the family had moved to Ashton-in-Makerfield. Robert and Annie now had additional children Amelia (8), John (4) and Margaret (3 months). |
