Stanley Lodging House, High Street, Prescot Private 21713, 11th Bn., South Lancashire Regiment William Brady attested for military service on 26th May 1915 at Prescot and was initially assigned to the 11th Battalion of the South Lancashire Regiment. He was 37 years old, married and worked as a Labourer. His wife was Ellen Brady (nee Milligan) of the same address, and they had three sons, William, Hugh and Tom.
He was transferred to the 69th (Training Reserve) Battalion on 31st August 1916 and was then discharged on 22nd September as no longer being fit for military service. He had not served overseas. Ref. No.:
