26 William Street, Prescot Private 311154, King’s (Liverpool) Regiment 26 year old Sheet Aluminium Roller Joseph Fisher signed uop for military service on 7th December 1915 at Seaforth. He gave his home address as 26, William Street, which was also the recorded address of Harry Evans
He transferred to the 18th Battalion, Tank Corps.
He embarked at Southampton on 2nd October 1918, bound for Le Havre, France.
Joseph was discharged on 21st January 1919. Joseph was entitled to the British War Medal and Victory Medal and these were dispatched to him on 26th July 1921
