26 William Street, Prescot Private 109121, 51st (Training) Battalion, King’s (Liverpool) Regiment Harry Evans was born in Prescot in 1892. In the 1911 census, he as listed, aged 18, at the above address, which was the home of his brother-in-law, John Davies.
Harry was working at the Wire Works as a Brass Fitter when he attested for military service in Warrington in 16th May 1918. His next of kin was his sister, Annie Davies, at the same address.
He served in the British Army on The Rhine (BAOR) and was discharged on 2nd November 1919.
He was entitled to the British War Medal and Victory Medal
