10, Bond Street, Prescot Private 312339, Tank Corps Born in Prescot around 1892, Thomas Finney was a Printer's Apprentice at the time of the 1911 census. He was a younger brother of Robert Finney.
Thomas was 26 years old and working as a Furnaceman at the Wire Works when he attested for military service on 29th August 1918. He was single and gave his parents, John and Mary Finney, as next of kin.
He was posted to the Tank Corps Depot at Wareham on 3rd September. Little is known of his service but he was posted to the Class Z Army Reserve on 12th March 1920.
I have been unable to determine if he saw overseas service or not.
