Service Details
James Morris in a picture kindly provided by his family
It has not been possible to find any details of James Morris military service. It is clear from his Medal Index Card that he served overseas after January 1916, and although he died in 1920, the fact that he is commemorated by CWGC shows that his death was attributable to his military service.
The above image is James' entry in the 1914 Electoral Roll, also showing that he lived next door to William Boots
