She had been married to her late husband, Thomas, for 22 years and they had five children, four of whom were still living.Of these, three still lived with their moither; 18 year old Frederick, a Bricklayer's Apprentice, 16 year old Julia, a White Embroiderer and 14 year old Ernest. |

Service DetailsCorporal Fisher was awarded the Military Medal in 1918. Citations for the award do not exist, but the London Gazette entry for the award was dated 29th August 1918. Generally, the gazette announcements came approximately three months after the action for which the award was made, suggesting an action in or around May/June 1918.
