17 Cook Street, Prescot A/Cpl 240303, 5th Bn, South Lancashire Regiment Robert was born in Prescot on 24th December 1896, the eldest of 6 children to John and Margaret Price. The 1911 census showed the family at the above address with 14 year old Robert employed as a “Spare Boy” at the Glass Bottle Works.
He was one of the Prescot men listed as serving with the colours in the Prescot Reporter in May 1915
Robert was included in a list of wounded men published on 23rd October 1917
I have been unable to locate any further information about Robert.
