28, Rowson Street, Prescot Pte 1914, 5th Bn., South Lancashire Regiment Thomas attested to the Territorials on 19th March 1914, attesting for 4 years. He was 18 years old and worked as a Driller at the Wire Works. He went to Edinburgh with the Battalion on the outbreak of war but was found to be medically unfit and was discharged on 9th September 1914.
He died in Prescot early in 1916
