Also Served: Anthony Nulty - Anthony NULTY
2 Back Ward Street, Prescot Private 7344, Lancashire Fusiliers Anthony Nulty was an elder brother of my grandfather Thomas Nulty, and also brother to Patrick and James Nulty.
In the 1891 census, the family are listed as Lodgers in 16, Browns Court, Prescot.
He is listed in the 1911 census as a 30 year old Coal Miner, married to Margaret and with children Thomas (5), Maggie (4) and Anthony (2)
Anthony is listed in the Prescot Reporter in May 1915 as one of the Prescot men serving in the forces.
His Medal Index Card shows that he first went overseas on 2nd June 1915, when he landed at Gallipoli. I am not sure which battalion of the Fusiliers he served with, as they had more than one serving at Gallipoli.
He was entitled to the 1915 Star, British War Medal and Victory Medal
Anthony died in Prescot in 1956, aged 76
